Shall we...blog?

So, this is the second day in a row that I have managed to get out of the house in the morning without any kids (or moms) screaming at anyone. Thank God! And what, you may ask, is my secret to success? Sadly, it comes down to sheer bribery. I figured out something that Bubba wants bad enough to behave himself. Unfortunately, once he gets the object of his desire, I am probably back to square one. Guess I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Forgot I had a dentist appointment today...perhaps blacked it out of memory. I hate having fillings done. There is absolutely nothing that anyone could do to make it a pleasant experience. My favorite part is the facial numbness. Stupid me, I scheduled my filling appt. for my lunch hour. That meant I got to come back to work looking like a stroke victim. Thank goodness I didn't have any meetings scheduled for this afternoon. Can you imagine...everyone trying to pretend that they aren't totally staring at the fact that your face is only moving on one side. What fun! It's been 4 hours, and I still haven't regained total muscle control. Personally, I think that's overkill. Don't get me wrong, I hate pain. But really, if the procedure only takes 1/2 hour, why must I be numb for half a day? I think the dentists get a kick out of knowing you will be facially out of commission for an extended period of time. They probably laugh at you behind you back after you leave the office..."Oh,ho,ho I REALLY numbed that one up! And she was really super drooly too! Hehehe Hahaha!" grrrrr...

One final random note...
I have been having some crazy dreams lately. Most nights I don't sleep well enough to dream, or if I do, I can't remember what I've dreamt. But lately, I have been dreaming and I do remember them. Last nights was a doozy. I dreamt that The Brain convinced everyone in the cube to leave work early. We all piled into her car and she proceeded to screech through the parking lot, doing donuts around other moving vehicles on her way out of the lot, and whooping and "wahooing" extremely loudly out her window the whole way. Not sure what the meaning is behind this (if there is any). Just thought I'd share. Feel free to discuss amongst yourselves.

Blogging accomplished, again.
