So a number of my friends like to display their mighty kitchen endeavors on their blogs, so I thought maybe I should get in on that action, too. Here was last night's meal - okay, okay...not all that fancy, but my whole family LOVES this soup. The kids call it "Mom's Spaghetti Soup" 'cause of all the pasta and tomatoes in it. I guess that's as good a name as any. It a really yummy mix of pasta, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, onions, garlic and spices - especially wonderful on cold winter nights. I made it last night at Na-na's special request. :)
Totally changing the subject...
Yesterday, The Brain's husband sent her a singing/dancing telegram at work. She tried to strong-arm us all into pretending that it never happened - so I thought I would mention it here! HILARIOUS! Not very often you get to watch a grown man dressed in a tutu dance around and attempt to sing at work...hehehe. I know she was embarrassed, but I was actually a bit envious of her. NO, I don't want a singing telegram at work, REALLY, I don't! But, I would love to know that someone in my life cared enough to take the time to plan such a big surprise for me. Gotta give some props to NoNeck. I think we all enjoyed his efforts. :)

Awe, MAN! You just HAD to mention it here. Well, well. I think your hubby got the message LOUD AND CLEAR that you deserve a hairy tu-tu man singing telegram too.
