So, today was the first day back to school for my boys. Bryan is starting 5th grade and Nate is moving into 2nd grade. Last night was filled with preparation: labeling everything with their names, rinsing out their new water bottles/lunch bags, sorting out their school supplies, sharpening 48 pencils, laying out their clothes for the next morning, etc... Our morning was still a bit chaotic, but I got them there on time, found their classes, met their teachers and sent them off to begin another year.
On a good note, I was pleased to find out that my friend, JV's, daughter and son were able to transfer to our school at the last minute. JV's daughter is actually in Nate's classroom, too! It will be nice to share the 2nd grade experience with them this year! :)
